Standing in a Summer Rain Storm | Binaural Rain and Thunder Sounds | 4K ASMR Ambience

No walk this time. A summer evening, a yard, an umbrella, and a storm that arrived just before sunset. I stood still and let it come: heavy rain drumming the umbrella, thunder rolling somewhere behind the trees, the sky turning the color storms turn it. It passed through in about thirty minutes, the way summer storms do. Then the sun set behind it, and the tree frogs started up as if they'd been waiting for their cue. The recording runs on until full dark. Binaural microphones under the umbrella, so the thunder travels across the yard while the rain stays close. I pushed the camera's sensitivity to keep filming as the light failed — an experiment, grain and all. It works for sleep, and for study. It works best as a storm you can stand inside without getting wet.
