[4K] Snow Walk to Top of Mountain | Sounds for Sleep | ASMR
A winter walk in the mountains of New England, the day after snow, following a trail to the top. Running mountain rivers thread the whole recording — water and snow are the entire soundtrack, carried whole into the binaural recording. The video was published in the middle of a summer heatwave and offered plainly as visual relief: cold scenery for hot weather, a window opened onto winter. Watched in any season it does the same work. Snow simplifies a forest; a mountain trail under it becomes one line to follow and nothing to decide. Fifty-five minutes to the top, camera and mics making the climb too. For sleep, mostly. This is the kind of walk where nothing arrives and nothing leaves, and the rivers keep running under the snow the whole way up.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
