Walking in Rain | Stormy New England Beach Walk | Binaural Audio for Sleep and Study [4K ASMR]
A stormy morning on a beach outside Boston. The notes for this one are short: rain, waves, a shoreline on the East Coast. That is the whole inventory, and it is enough. Rain comes down onto the recorder from above while the ocean keeps its own time out ahead — two rhythms that never quite agree, which is most of why it works. Recorded on location, binaurally, and that matters on a beach, because a shoreline in rain is mostly left-and-right information: a wave breaking off one shoulder, the wash of it fading on the other. The beach goes unnamed in the original notes, so it goes unnamed here. It is the kind of stretch you drive past on the way to somewhere with a parking lot, and it asks nothing of you. People put this one on to sleep, and to study. It also works for standing still.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
