Rainy Day Walk in Fall - 4K New England - Autumn Leaves
A rainy day late in the fall, on a trail in New England. The leaves are mostly down — red and orange, covering the ground — and the rain lands on them now instead of on the branches that held them, which changes the sound of the woods entirely. This is the short season between foliage and bare winter, when the color is all underfoot and the trail is the brightest thing in the forest. An hour of walking through it, in binaural audio, recorded on location, with nothing said and nothing added. Rain in the woods asks less of you than rain in a city; there is nowhere you are supposed to be. Put it on to study, to sleep, or to take a whole hour of fall slowly, before it goes.
