Late evening, fall rain, Cambridge. The walk starts up on Avon Hill, follows Mass Ave, and ends at the edge of the Harvard campus, through one of the historic stretches of the city. The sun went down while the camera was rolling, so the picture darkens as the walk goes on. I stopped longer at a few spots along the way to let the rain sounds collect — a small experiment, and one worth repeating. Near the end the main recorder failed, and the backup audio carries the last few minutes; I kept it rather than lose the walk. Recorded in binaural audio, on location, filmed in 4K. Evening rain in Cambridge in the fall has a specific sound. I don't have a better word for it than the recording itself.
