A rainy evening at Harvard, in the old streets of the campus square near the Charles River. Midsummer, with the greenery at full strength — the notes point out how well the brick architecture stands against it, and the rain deepens both: red darker, green wetter, the whole palette turned up a step without anyone touching anything. Evening rain on a campus in summer is a low-attendance event. The university is mostly elsewhere; the streets keep their shape without their crowd. The city soundscape was recorded binaurally in 3D on location — rain first, then everything the rain lands on. The notes admit that rain walks at night are a favorite of the person filming, and it shows in the patience of this one. Old streets, wet brick, the river close by, nothing else on the schedule. That is the entire program, and it is enough.
