Venice, Italy 4K - Walk the Canals - HDR Binaural 3D Audio
Venice, on foot, along the canals. Nowhere near New England, but the reason for walking is the same: a place where water sets the pace. The city is built on its canals — Venetian Gothic fronts rising straight out of the water, water walkways where other cities would lay streets. These canal streets are where the famous gondolas live, though a walker gets a different Venice than a passenger does: the sound of it, footsteps on stone, water working quietly against brick, voices arriving from streets you never find. The audio is binaural 3D, so the canals stay on their side of you and the walls on theirs. Venice has been described so many times that the kindest thing is to stop describing it and just walk. That is what this recording does. Sleep to it, study over it, or stand at a window you don't have.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
