Rain Walk at Night in Boston, MA | Winter Cozy Ambience [4K ASMR]
Night rain in Boston, in winter. The route opens at the head of the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, where the trees are strung with green and white lights for Christmas. From there it moves through the Boston Garden, lit for the season, and across to the Common, where the city's main Christmas tree stands among the lights. Downtown Crossing is the pass-through — a shortcut between the bright places — and then comes Faneuil Hall, decorated end to end, with a large dinosaur set up among the lights. The walk finishes at Christopher Columbus Parkway: the classic carousel, the archway glowing deep blue, rain still coming down. Every sound was caught live in binaural, so the rainfall and the city sit where they actually were. A long walk through the lit-up parts of Boston, after dark, under rain, in the weeks when the city bothers to decorate.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
