Walking in the Rain | Bridge to Boston at Night | Binaural City Sounds [4K Rain Ambience ASMR]
A winter night, rain, and the Longfellow Bridge into Boston. The subway runs along this bridge, Cambridge to Boston and back again, and the trains keep their schedule regardless of the weather — every so often a rumble arrives, passes, and leaves the rain to itself. Fog sat on the skyline that night. The buildings were there, then partly there, then mostly a suggestion behind the rolling grey. On the far side, the walk comes down into the Beacon Hill area and the bridge noise falls away behind it. In the binaural mix the rain lands all around you and the trains pass through one side of the night and out the other. The crossing was filmed in 4K, fog and all. A bridge crossing is a small thing. A lit city half-hidden in fog is not, and it follows you home.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
