The blossoms hold the last light longer than anything else along the path — the river goes dark first, then the far bank, then the trees keep a pale hour of their own. No rain in this one. Just the sound of Boston settling, recorded binaurally on location — footsteps on the path, the city beyond the trees changing shift from day to evening — while the river goes dark alongside.
