[4K] Walk After Rain | Boston Garden | Binaural City Sounds
An afternoon in the Boston Public Garden, just after a rain storm passed through. Early autumn. The rain itself is already gone; what is left is the after — wet ground, a rinsed city. The walk moves through the Garden, crosses into Boston Common, and climbs toward the State House, which is as much itinerary as an afternoon needs. Weather gives a park back changed, and this recording catches the first half hour of the return. The city's ambience comes through in binaural audio — footsteps, the ordinary sounds a downtown makes when it thinks nobody is listening — filmed at sixty frames, so the drip off the branches stays smooth. Good for study, good for sleep, better for standing at a window you do not have.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
