[4K] Walk After Rain | Boston, MA | Binaural City Sounds | ASMR Walking
The heavy rain had just finished when this walk began, and the Financial District was still dripping from it. This is the working end of Boston, and the recording doesn't pretend otherwise: traffic, voices, the ordinary machinery of a city on the clock, every bit of it in three-dimensional binaural sound that puts the street around you rather than in front of you. Headphones are the way in. There's a particular mood to a district built for busyness in the hour after a storm — everything wet, everyone resuming, the sidewalks shining under whatever light gets through. This walk lives in that hour. Filmed in 4K, recorded on location. It does fine as study noise, or as something to sleep against. It's better as company: a city getting back to its day, and you walking through the thick of it, obligated to none of it.
Best with headphones — the audio is true binaural. Watch on YouTube (recommended on TV).
The Quiet List
A note when a new walk goes up. Four or five a year, usually autumn and winter. Nothing else.
