Playa del Carmen 4K, Tropical Beach Walk at 6AM | Relaxing ASMR

Six in the morning at Playa del Carmen, on the Caribbean side of Mexico. This one is an outlier for the channel — no rain, no fog, no New England — but a sunrise beach has its own version of the same thing: nobody out yet, the day not started, the waves coming in small and even against the sand. The walk follows the beach past a string of small resort properties, their loungers still empty, the water doing the only talking. It was recorded on location rather than with our usual binaural rig, and filmed at a walking pace, start to finish, as the light came up. Warm places are supposed to be loud. At this hour they are not. If you use these walks for sleep or for settling into work, the waves here hold a rhythm steadier than any rain — older, too, though it doesn't insist on it.
